I’m thinking of “Temples that get better as they fall apart” with these pieces.
I consider my home, and my surroundings as sometimes the outer layers of the body my soul lives in. The symbolism of a butterfly is suiting to how I feel about the ways I adapt to the world I live in. Scars have as much beauty as the markings on butterfly wings, depending on your perspective. Taking hits in life, losses, and letting things go are crucial parts of feeling my growth and evolution through time.
